I was recently informed that some stock I owned Tagish Lake Gold CRP was sold in a merger.  I think I bought this stock in the 1980's but it was under another name.  Can you tell me the history of this stock starting in the 1980's through to the present.

I need this for my U.S. income tax

Lynn, from the information I have available:

Taglish was formed in 2000 by the merger of Omni Resources Inc. (0.2257 of a Taglish share for 1 Omni) and Trumpeter Yukon Gold (0.1353 of a Taglish share for 1 Trumpeter share). Trumpeter IPO'd in 1996, but I know Omni was around all through the 1980's. Therefore, it is likely that Omni is the original company you bought.
