Question
I have a certificate for 100 shares of the subject company, which is dated Oct 1987. Have been unable to find any information on the company.  They were incorporated in British Columbia and the transfer agent was Guardian Estates & Agencies Ltd of Vancouver, B.C.  How can I determine if the stock has any valuve and to locate either firm?

Unfortunately, from the information I have available, the shares have no current value. The company changed its name to Maxcard Systems International, which later ran into serious financial trouble and was suspended, cease-traded and delisted in 1994/1995. That cease-trade order remains in effect.
