Question
Dear Steven:
What can you tell me about the following listing:
POTASH NORTH RES. CORP. (PON-X)
I believe it underwent a reverse split.
Thank you for your assistance.
Ken.

Answer
Ken, from the information I have available, Potash North did not reverse split but was acquired by Potash One in April 2009 on the basis of 0.3125 of a Potash One share for each share of Potash North. Potash One was just acquired by K + S Aktiengesellschaft on the basis of $4.50 cash per share. It was just made into a compulsory acquisition, which means all holders were taken out and those that did not tender there shares were automatically paid $4.50. If the shareholder's current address is not known, the money would be turned over to the government for safekeeping.
