Question
I recently located old stock certificates dating back to the 1950's and 1960's for Conro Development Corporation Limited (1000 shares); Allied Pitch-Ore Mines Limited (1500 shares); Conro Development Corporation Limited (1000 shares) ; Associated Arcadia Nickel Corporation Limited (1500 shares); and Poly Ores Mining Company Limited. I have not been able to locate any information on the above listed companies. Any assistance or help appreciated.
Thanks

Answer
Pat, from the information I have available:

The Conro has no value. The Company was dissolved in the early 1970's.

Allied has no value. It had its charter cancelled in the early 1970's.

Associated Arcadia has no value. It did a 1 for 5 reverse split and became Arcadia Minerals, which was placed into receivership in the mid-1970's.

Poly Ores has gone through at least 6 name changes and at least 1 reverse stock split (a 1 for 3, but I believe there have been more than that#. If my tracking is correct, I think the company is now Loncor Resources, which trades for about $2.60 a share. You will need to contact the current transfer agent, Equity Transfer #www.equitytransfer.com) in regards to your old shares and see if they have any current value.
