Question
I bought 500 shares of CHEVY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION in 1987 where Yorkshire Trut Company was the transfer agent and registrar.

I would like to sell these shares.

However, it appears that neither Chevy nor Yorkshire exists anymore.  (Bankrupt??out-of-business??sold-out???}.

Can you advise me on how to locate these firms, with end-goal of selling the shares?

Thanks,

Answer
Frank, from the information I have available, Chevy has gone through at least 5 name changes and 3 reverse stock splits (a 1 for 5, then a 1 for 4, then a 1 for 5). The company is currently Urodynamix, which trades for about 3 cents per share on the TSX Venture. The current transfer agent is Computershare (www.computershare.com) who you will need to contact about your old shares and if it would be worthwhile to convert to the new shares.
