Question
I finished reading your answer (April 2010) with respect to Newrich Explorations and it's spliting to Adventex Marketing.

I have recently found financial statements in my father's estate papers, for Newrich. His papers were not well organized and I would like to follow up to see if there are shares that we are unaware of. How would I do this and how can I be sure that a no answer is not just a dismissive answer due to the time frames involved?

I also found the same for Goldmaster Mines Ltd. for the years of 1967 & 1968. I have only been able to find Geo Surveys (Cana Consulting)of the same time period but cannot locate any history or existence of them. As you had Newrich Exp. sized up, would you know about them also?

Any help with the above is much appreciated even if it is to point me in the right direction.

Regards, Stephen

Answer
Stephen, in regards to Advantex, the transfer agent has abaolutely no benefit from lying to you. They are paid to maintain the stockholder records, and once the share is sold by the company, it is forever in circulation until the company either buys back the shares and retires them, or another company acquires them. It does not matter to the company who owns the outstanding common shares, so they are highly unlikely to not provide you with the information if they have it available. I would contact the agent (CIBC Mellon) and see if they have your father as a shareholder.

For Goldmaster Mines, they have no value. The Company was dissolved in the mid-1970's.
