My father in law found certificates issued by GREAT EAGLE EXPLORATIONS AND HOLDINGS LIMITED in 1969.
Do they have some value?

From the information I have available, the Company merged with 3 other companies and became Belle Aire Resource Explorations, then later changed its name 3 more times. It eventually became Advantex Marketing, which is still around. It trades on the TSX for about 4 cents per share. You need to contact the current transfer agent, CIBC Mellon (www.cibcmellon.com) to confirm this information and get your old shares reorganized into the new shares.
