I have 200 shares of Arivaca Silver and 20 shares of Nical Dev.acquired oct. 3, 1985 with National Trust Company, Limited as transfer agent. Arivca certificate #8798 and Nical Dev. cert. #40474, CUSIP 653345108.  Do companies still exist, or in another name.  Worth anything?

Herman, from the information I have available:

Arivaca has no current value. The Company ran into serious financial trouble and lost its only asset. They were suspended and delisted in 1990.

Ni-Cal was suspended and delisted, but later did a 1 for 10 reverse split and moved into Delaware. They obtained a listing on NASDAQ, but I have no further information on them. I suggest you contact a broker and see if they can perform a detailed search for you.
