Question
As the executor I came across a  share certificate for this company but cannot find any info on them.
Any suggestions?
Comment on web site - it would be very helpful to have he lisiting of companies as the heading.
Thanks, Ian

Answer
Ian, from the information I have available, the company went through numerous name changes and capital adjustments (1 for 5, then 1 for 4, then 1 for 3.6474, then 1.9738 for 1) and ended as Innova Explorations. Innova was acquired in 2007 for $7.55 per share cash. It is possible the owner of the certificate received cash for the acquisition, but if not, the money would have been turned over to the government for safekeeping. You will need to search the missing property departments of every state or province in which they lived from the date they acquired the certificate. You can search many of them online for free at www.missingmoney.com and www.naupa.org.
