Question
Please help me find out if any of these old stock certificates belonging to my elderly mother have any value:
530 Mt. Calvery Resources Ltd.1983
133 Triumph Resources Ltd. 1989
1,000 Alwin Mining Co. Ltd. (N.P.L.) 1970, 1973
3,625 Brycon Explorations Ltd. 1969, 1970
200 South Seas Mining Limited 1970
*all were listed on the Vancouver Stock Exchange, purchased by my father.  Thanks for any help you can give me.

Answer
Unfortunately, from the information I have available, none of those shares have any current value.

Mt. Calvery and Triumph are the same company. Calvery did a 1 for 4 reverse split and became Triumph. They later changed names twice and had a further 1 for 4 reverse and ended as Regia Resources, which was suspended, cease-traded and delisted in 1997.

Alwin did a 1 for 5 reverse and became Advent Developments, which was dissolved in the early 1980's.

Brycon became Brycon Industries, which was dissolved in 1972.

South Seas had its charter cancelled and was dissolved in 1976.
