I found a bunch of old stocks of my grandpa.I am think they are worth nothing but better check to make sure.
Yreka Mines Ltd
Granite Mountain Mines Ltd
Manhattan Continental Development Inc
Western Clay Products Ltd

Murray, from the information I have available:

Yreka Mines has no curent value. The company was dissolved in the 1980's.

Granite did a 1 for 5 reverse split and became Golden Granite Mines. It was later dissolved, and there is no value for shareholders.

Manhattan Continental was a US corporation (first Nevada, then California incorporated) and I only have information on Canadian companies. However, from information available on the internet, it appears it was struck from the California corporate register and dissolved.

I don't believe Western Clay has any value, but I don't know for sure. If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would contact them first as they will know if your certificate has any value. If not, you could try the Province of Incorporation and see what information they have available. You could also take the certificate to a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
