I have some mining shares that my dad had & I also have some they are Blue Bell Mines B.C. 1957;  Ymir Dundee Gold Mining Co. Ltd;
Spartan Exploration LTD (N.P.L.);and Fraser Valley Petroleum Ltd

Lorraine, the only 1 of the 4 I have any information on is Spartan, which became Nuspar Resources before being dissolved in 1995. No current value.

For the other 3, if there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would contact them first as they would know if the certificate is valid and has current value. You could also try the Province of Incorporation and see what information they have available, or contact a broker and ask them to perform a detailed search for you.
