Question
Are any of these companies still trading?  Temple Explorations Inc.D'Eldona resources ltd., red rocket explorations inc., bald eagle explorations inc. new realm resources inc., bonanza red lake explorations inc., Phateon exploration ltd.,  I have old certificates with some shares of these companies.

Answer
Janet, from the information I have available:

Temple Explorations became Burgess Point, which later did a 1 for 7 reverse split and became Metallica Resources, which later merged into New Gold on the basis of 0.9 of a share of New Gold plus 1 cent cash for each Metallica share. New Gold currently trades for about $10.70 a share.

D'Eldona did a 1 for 3 reverse and became Western D'Eldona, which was acquired by Paramount Resources in 1992 for $3.25 cash per share.

Red Rocket did a 1 for 15 reverse stock split and became W.I.N Gaming, which later became Funtime Hospitality. Funtime was delisted and 3 Provinces issued cease-trade orders against them, all of which remain in effect.

I have no information on New Realm at all, although it seems to have changed or disappeared around 1987 or so.

Bonanza Red Lake did a 1 for 3 reverse split and became Eugenic, and recently changed names to Eagleford Energy. The shares trade on the OTCBB in the US under the symbol "EFRDF" and they are fully reporting with the SEC. The stock trades for about $1.15 per share.

Phaeton went through several name changes. They became Falvo Estates, then Falvo Corporation. Falvo later acquired a metal fabricator and changed it name to Conrex Steel. As part of the reorganization, they gave shareholders the option to either redeem their common shares for 92 cents per share or convert them to new Class A shares of Conrex. The majority (90%) opted for the redemption. I believe those that did not redeem were converted to new Class A shares of the Conrex Steel. With the redemption, Conrex was able to delist from the Toronto Stock Exchange and go private. Therefore, even though Conrex Steel is still around, the shares are not traded.
