Answer
John, I can't tell you if specific share certificates have value. They may have been reported lost and reissued, or had a merger and cancelled. Only the transfer agent can confirm the validity of a specific certificate. All I can do is try to track the stock and do my best to determine who the current agent is, if any.

From the information I have available:

Kismet has no value. The Company became Pamex Resources, which was dissolved in 1978.

Acano had at least 2 reverse splits (a 1 for 5, then a 1 for 3) and is currently ProAm Explorations Corp., which trades on the TSX Venture Exchange for about 8 cents a share. The current transfer agent is Computershare (www.computershare.com).

Central BC has no current value. The Company was dissolved in 1985.
