Question
Could you please let me know if there is any value for the following:
Norgold Mines Ltd ( 1984)
Empire Acceptance Corporation Ltd ( 1972 )
Copper Horn Mining Ltd ( 1972 )
Great West Mining Corporation ( 1968 )
Triform Explorations (B.C.) Ltd. ( N.P.L. )

Answer
Jane, from the information I have available:

Norgold did a 1 for 5 reverse split, and later changed its name to Multi-choice Communications. The stock was cease-traded in 1987, and that order remains in effect.

Empire Acceptance was dissolved in 1980, and shareholders received no value.

Copper Horn became Hitec Development Corp in the 1980's, but I have no additional information.

Great West had at least 1 reverse split (1 for 10) and changed names at least 5 times. I believe it is now Pantheon Inc. which trades on the TSX for about $2.00 per share. The current transfer agent is Computershare (www.computershare.com).

Triform had at least 2 reverse splits (1 for 5, then 1 for 10) and had 3 name changes. It is now Lucky Strike Resources, which trades on the TSX Venture for about 58 cents per share. The current transfer agent is also Computershare, so you will need to contact them to confirm the old certificate is valid and, if so, to get them reorganized into the new shares.
