We have come across some old certificates from our father who recently died and are wondering if there is any value to them. They are dated June 21,1965. Grenadier Securities Ltd. Is this still valid. He had 500 shares in October  and 300 shares in June. Thanks

Shirley, from the information I have available, the Company has had at least 2 reverse splits (1 for 7, then 1 for 10) and numerous name changes. It eventually became Advantex Marketing, which is still around. It trades on the CNSX for about 4 cents per share. You need to contact the current transfer agent, CIBC Mellon (www.cibcmellon.com) to confirm this information and get your old shares reorganized into the new shares.
