Sherritt Gordon changed names several times and became Viridian, which was later acquired by Agrium on the basis of 0.975 of an Agrium share for each Viridian share. Agrium currently trades for about $81 per share. You will need to contact the current transfer agent, CIBC Mellon (www.cibcmellon.com) to determine if your old certificate is valid and, if so, to reorganize the old shares into the new shares.
