Question
Hello Mr. Taylor,

I wonder if you can help me?

In 1977 I bought 100 shares of a company called Minas de Cerro Dorado Ltd. and 100 shares of a company called LeMans Resources Ltd.

Considering the price of gold lately I wondered if these shares are now worth anything?

I would appreciate any information you might be able to find.

Thank you - Simon

Answer
Simon, from the information I have available:

Minas de Cerro did a 1 for 5 reverse stock split and became Windarra Minerals. Windarra is still around and trades for about 15 cents on the TSX Venture. You will need to contact the current transfer agent, Computershare, about reorganizing your old shares into the new.

LeMans has no current value. The Company was struck from the corporate register and dissolved in the early 1980's.
