Question
Hi Steven, do you know if any of the following companies are active, have changed their name or been bought by someone else, or if their share certificate would have any value to a collector. Thank you in advance for your time :nuequus petroleum corporation, nuclear explorations limited, midas oils ltd, boreal rare metals limited, gulf lead mines limited, leesa explorations limited, picktex mining and investments limited.

Answer
Will, from the information I have available:

Nuequus went through several name changes and at least 2 reverse stock splits (1 for 10 and 1 for 8) and is currently New World Investments. The current transfer agent is Computershare (www.computershare.com).

Nuclear Explorations has no value. It was dissolved in the 1960's.

Midas has no value. It was dissolved in the 1960's as well.

Boreal has no value. It ran into financial difficulty and although the debt holders received something, I believe shareholders received nothing.

Gulf has no value. It was dissolved in the early 1970's.

Leesa has no value. It was dissolved in the 1980's.

Picktex has no value. It went bankrupt and shareholders received nothing.
