Iam a former employee of RAX or rio alto exploration that was bought out by Canadian natural. at the time they bought out rio they also formed a company rio alto international on a 1 for 1 stock basis which through jiggs and reels i believe now to be day light energy. i also know cnrl has split 3 times since gobbling up rio alto. i found the stock cert after opening some old boxes from my move from Edmonton back east. was for 210 shares of rio alto.
any help in assessing the valve of this cert would be appreciated. it's either that or frame it hang it on the wall.

Paul, what you need to do is contact the current transfer agents for Canadian Natural and Daylight and see if they have you on the ownership rolls. The agent for Canadian Natural is Computershare (www.computershare.com) and the Daylight is Valiant Trust (www.valianttrust.com).
