I have a share certificate from Golden Spirit Resources Inc. dated October 09 1984. I was wondering if these shares still have any value?

Tim, the Company has gone through numerous name changes, reverse splits (1 for 8 and 1 for 3) and mergers (0.386 for 1, then 0.5 for 1 and 0.3 for 1) and is now Advantage Oil and Sure Energy (in one merger, shareholders received shares of both companies). Based on the numerous disadvantageous reverse splits and merger ratios, you may have no shares left, but you should contact the current transfer agents (Computershare for Advantage and Valiant for Sure) and see if they have you on the shareholder lists.
