Hello
we have share certificates in 2 mining companies (left by parents) - from Bathurst Mines, Ltd. dating from 1929 - and the International Mining and Development Corporation frm 1956.  we were wodering if they are of any value?

Judy, from the information I have available:

Bathurst has no current value. The Company was acquired by Gleemar Gold Mines, but Gleemar was dissolved in the mid-1950's.

International Mining was liquidated in 1970 and shareholders received shares of Precious Metals Ltd (1 for 4) and International Diversified Developers (1 for 10). I have no information beyond that, and so I suggest you contact a broker and see if they can provide any additional information.
