Canadian Stocks/Value of old Stock Certificate?

Question
Hello Mr. Taylor,
While cleaning out my closet today I found an old Stock Certificate for a Canadian Stock my husband purchased years ago (Feb,1989) and was wondering if it is of any value now?
The certificate says 8000 shares of Pacific Star Communications Corporation.
The transfer agent and registrar on the front is Yorkshire Trust Company of Vancouver, British Columbia.
At the top of the certificate is says "incorporated under the laws of the state of Delaware"
Any insight you may have would be truly appreciated.
Karen

Answer
Karen, I don't have much information on US Companies, and from your information, this is a Delaware Corporation. However, I see they had some serious financial trouble and were suspended, delisted, and cease-traded in 1990. That cease-trade order remains in effect, but I suggest you check with Delaware and see what information they have available.
