Canadian Stocks/lots of old stock certs

i have a number of old stuck certificates that were just recently handed down to me after my grandfathers passing. I did some digging around and found very little info on them, can you help:
here they are:
American leduc pertoleums limited (10000 shares, dated 1984)

International Mining and Development Corporation(20 shares, dated 1955)

Dutch Guiana Minerals Corporation (5 shares, dated 1955)

International Diversified Developers Limited (2 shares, no date)

Precious Metals LTD. (5 shares, dated 1969)

Desmont mining Corporation LTD. (400 shares, dated 1956)

Explorers Alliance Limited (4000 shares,dated 1956,59)

Diadem Mines Limited (10000 shares, dated 1956-59)

any info, would be much appreciated

Shawn, from the information I have available:

American Leduc was acquired in 2003 for 23 cents per share. Your Grandfather should have received a check at that time.

International Mining and Development was liquidated in 1970. Shareholders received shares of International Diversified and Precious Metals Ltd., which is undoubtedly where those certificates came from. Unfortunately, I have no other information on either company.

I have no information on Dutch Guiana Minerals.

Desmont has no current value. It was dissolved in the late 1950's.

Explorers Alliance has no current value. It was dissolved in the 1960's.

Diadem has no current value. It was dissolved in the mid-1960's.

For the mystery certificates, I suggest you contact a broker and ask them to perform a detailed search for you.
