Question
I have 200 shares in applied inventions management corp. Purchased in 2009 from E A Manning. What if anything is their worth? Thank You

Answer
Susan, from the information I have available, E.A. Manning was long out of business by 2009. Based on the dates, I believe you must have purchased the stock prior to 1992, as that year the company had a 1 for 4.8 reverse split and became Applied Inventions Management Corp. The Company was cease-traded by Ontario in 2001, but that order was lifted in 2011. The Company is currently an empty shell looking for a transaction, but the stock does not trade anywhere, so there is no price. You will need to contact the current transfer agent (http://www.tmxequitytransferservices.com/) to confirm this information and have the old certificate reorganized.
