Canadian Stocks/1950 stock certificate Mayo Mines Limited

I am in possession of a certificate for 110 shares of the aforementioned company in the name of my deceased Aunt's late husband.  I'm not her heir, but my first cousin is. Are these shares of any value?

Dana, Mayo is a company I am asked about frequently. They had a 1 for 3 reverse split and became Maybrun Mines in 1953. Maybrun became Consolidated Maybrun Mines, and although it does not appear they trade anywhere, they might still be around. There are numerous recent references to Consolidated Maybrun, and even an address and phone number:

Consolidated Maybrun Mines Ltd
1814-150 York Street
Toronto, Ontario
M5H 3S5

(416) 363-4477

Would not hurt to try to contact them and see what you can find.
