Canadian Stocks/Old Stock Certificate - North Rankin Mines Limited

Dear Sir:
I have a friend of a client who has three old share certificates in the name of North Rankin Mines Limited.  They were issued through Baker Weeks & Co., Richardson Securities Cdn. and Bonguard, Leslie & Co.

Can you tell me if these stock certificates are worth anything?

Thanks, Gary

Gary, I have no information on North Rankin Mines, but I do know the company North Rankin Nickel Mines Limited. Is this the correct company? If so, there is no current value. The Company had a couple of reverse splits and name changes and became Coldstream Mines, which went into receivership in 1976. Shareholders received nothing of value.
