Question
I have old shares from Cobalt Mines Ontario. Was Cobalt Mines one of the 5 small mining companies that became Cobalt Consolidated in 1953 and if so are the shares still good

Answer
Trudy, I don't have the information on Cobalt Mines Ontario, but if it did become Cobalt Consolidated Mining in 1953, then it later became Agnico and then Agnico Eagle. To determine if the old certificate is valid, you will need to contact Agnico's transfer agent, Computershare. www.computershare.com.
