Question
I stumbled across this website and I'm hoping you can help me.  I have a certificate for 17 shares of Nor-West Kim Resources Ltd dated December 18, 1972 and one for 200 shares of Fidelity Mining Investments Limited dates August 14, 1962 (might be 1952).

I'm wondering if they have any value.

Thank you

Answer
Sharon, from the information I have available:

Nor-West Kim has no current value. The Company lost its charter and was dissolved in the late 1970's.

Fidelity went through a couple of name changes and an acquisition before being acquired by Trimac for $21.25 cash in 1977. The registered holder should have received a check at that time. If not, the money would have been turned over to the government for safekeeping for the registered holder.
