Question
My deceased aunt left 500 shares of stock with Crown Trust Company through Jorsco Explorations Limited. To the best of my knowledge they are not worth anything.

I believe that Crown Trust became Central Trust and then Guaranty Trust, which I believe collapsed.

I wanted to be certain they have no value before settling the estate.  Any help you can provide will certainly be appreciated.

Thank you!

Answer
Richard, the shares are for Jorsco Explorations Limited. Crown Trust was just the transfer agent hired by Jorsco to maintain their shareholder records and effect the transfer of shares.

The shares have no current value. Jorsco was dissolved in the early 1970's.
