Question
Hi, my friend's father recently passed away. He had 2 old share certificates. Both companies incorporated under Province of BC and both bought from Richardson Securities of Canada.
West-Coast Resources Ltd. Mar 9, 1967
New Indian Mines Ltd. April 21, 1967
Any information would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Answer
Robin, from the information I have available:

West Coast had its charter cancelled and was dissolved in the mid-1970's. No current value.

New Indian had numerous name changes and reverse splits and eventually became International Roraima Gold, which was suspended, delisted and cease-traded in 2001. Those cease-trade orders remain in effect. No current value.
