Question
While cleaning out some old family files, I found three stock certificates, one for 50 shares of Duvex Oils and Mines limited (dated Aug 15, 1952), and one for 54 shares of Dynaco Resources Ltd (dated August 17, 1972) and finally one for 200 shares of Cartier Quebec Explorations Limited (dated August 22, 1972)

Answer
Ann, from the information I have available:

Duvex had a 1 for 10 reverse split and became United Duvex. United Duvex was cease-traded in Ontario in 1978, and that order remains in effect. No current value.

Dynaco has no current value. The Company was dissolved in the early 1980's.

Cartier Quebec had numerous reverse splits and name changes and became Armstrong Corp., which went into receivership and was delisted in 2003. No current value.
