Question
Clearing out some old files and came across some old stock certificates.
One from Alwin Mining Company Ltd. (N.P.L.) issued Aug. 22 1967
in Vancouver, BC. and transferable to Canada Trust Company, Vancouver, BC.
The other two are from Austin Investment Corporation Ltd. Transferable at the office of National Trust Company, Vancouver, BC
Issued March 13, 1989.
How do I find the current value of these stocks or to whom they might have been transferred.
Thank you.
Sigi

Answer
Sigi, from the information I have available:

Alwin has no value. The Company had a 1 for 5 reverse split and a name change before being dissolved in the early 1980's.

Austin was cease-traded in the 1980's, but I have no additional information. But, it does not appear to have any current value.
