Canadian Stocks/Same old story

We found in the estate of an aunt many share certificates. The three main investments were in Nevada State Gold Mines Co. (incorporated in 1931), Porterhouse Foods Ltd (1952) and something like "Flomic Chibougamau Mines Ltd (incorporated in 1951). Could you tell us if these certificates have any value or if they will make a good family story.

Daniel, from the information I have available:

I have no information on Nevada State Gold Mines. It may predate the information I have available, but it also sounds like it may be a US incorporated company. I only have info on Canadian companies.

I have no information on Porterhouse Foods. I suggest for Porterhouse and Nevada State you ask a broker to perform a detailed search for you.

Flomic had its charter cancelled and was dissolved in the mid-1970's. No current value.
