Question
My husband was given 5,000 shares of Sapawe Gold Mine Stock by his father. He came across a notice over a year ago looking for stock owners. He supplied all the info requested and was told he was officially on the list when mine was sold. It has been difficult to get info about the progress of the sale. Can you find any information of this and if the stock is of any value?
Thank you,
Kathleen Schlotec

Answer
Kathleen, I see that Grant Thornton was appointed the Trustee of Sapawe and was planning to liquidate any assets as of 2013. I have no additional information, but I suggest you contact the trustee directly:

Grant Thornton Limited
Liquidator for the Corporation
979 Alloy Drive
Thunder Bay ON P7B 5Z8
Telephone (807) 345-6571
Fax (807) 346-7304

They should be able to give you an update on the liquidation and if there is any value for the common shareholders.
