Question
In early 1980's I purchased stock in Canadian Company. The name is either Radian or Radiant Petroleum or Radian or Radiant Oil. I am looing to replace the stock certificate and can't locate the new name. Would greatly appreciate your help in identifying new name of Company. The Company I purchased the stock through is no longer in business.

Thank you for your help

Answer
Deborah, based on the name and time period, it sounds like it was likely Radian Petroleum. Radian had a name change to Jet Star Energy around 1983, and was cease-traded shortly thereafter. Since that cease-trade order remains in effect, the shares would have no current value.
