Question
I have 3 old certificate from my deceased father and would like to know if they are worth something:
St-Jude Gold Mines Ltd. countersigned, Guardian Trust Co.
Alana Mines Ltd. countersigned, Prudential Trust Co.
Les Mines Brosnan Ltée. countersigned,Canada Permanent Trust Co.
How and where could I go to get an answer.
Thank you for your help,
J-P Soumis

Answer
Jean-Pierre, from the information I have available:

Saint-Jude has no value. The Company had its charter cancelled and was dissolved in the late 1970's.

Alana has no value. The Company had its charter cancelled and was dissolved in the late 1950's.

Brosnan had multiple reverse splits (1 for 5, then 1 for 7, and 1 for 10) and became Lounor Exploration, which was suspended, delisted and cease-traded in 2013. Those cease-trade orders remain in effect.
