Question
I found the following Canadian stock certificates - mostly dated in the 1950's:
Pitch-Ore uranium Mines Limited
Yankee canuck Oil and Mining Corporation Limited
Terrex Mining Company Limited
nesbitt LaBine uranium Mines Limited
St. Michael Uranium Mines Limited
Any information you might have would be much appreciated.  Thank you.

Jo

Answer
Joanne, from the information I have available:

Pitch-Ore had a reverse split before having its charter cancelled. No current value.

Yankee Canuck had numerous reverse splits and amalgamations (1 for 27, then 1 for 4, then 1 for 2.3, then 1 for 10, then 0.69 for 1, then $2.81 cash + 0.225 of a share for 1, then 3.33 new shares + $3.25 cash for 1) and became Gulf Canada, which was acquired in 2001 for $12.40 cash per share. The registered holder should have received checks for their shares at that time, if any were left after the multiple reverse splits.

St. Michael and Terrex are the same company. It had its charter cancelled and was dissolved in the mid-1970's. No current value.

Newsbit had a 1 for 80 reverse split and was acquired for 75 cents per share cash in 1979.
