Question
In 1982 I was given 25 shares in Goldwinn Resources Ltd. It was incorporated in British Columbia . Is it still good or has the company folded.

Answer
Joan, from the information I have available, the Company had a merger into Cessland Corp on the basis of 54 new shares for each 100 old shares. Since you didn't have 100 shares, it is likely the shares would have been extinguished for a small cash payment at that time. If not, they would have been converted to Cessland pro rata. Unfortunately, Cessland ran into serious trouble financially in the late 1980's. I don't believe they survived, and the company was cease-traded in 1992.
