Question
A couple of share certificates kicking around for over 50 years I recently discovered.
i)   Coast Explorations Ltd. (npl) dated Mar 21 1962
ii)  Triform Explorations (B.C.) Ltd. (npl) dated October 1 1962

My kids are hoping for a vastly increased inheritance.  Har har!
Thank you kindly.
Lew

Answer
Lew, from the information I have available:

Coast has no current value. The Company had its charter cancelled in the mid-1970's.

Triform has had multiple name changes and reverse stock splits (1 for 5, 1 for 10, 1 for 8) and is currently Rojo Resources, which trades for about 3 cents per share. You will need to contact the current transfer agent (www.computershare.com) to confirm this information and, if there is any residual value, can reorganize the old certificate into the new certificate.
