Question
I have recently come across some old Stocks/Shares. I am trying to find out some History of the company's or if they are still active. I know they have probably changed hands/company's a few times over the years. They are a follows:

- Mitron Technologies Inc.
- Putt-Putt Golf Courses of Canada Inc.
- Equashare Management Corporation
- Walsh Katrine Gold Mines

Answer
Wendy-Lee, from the information I have available:

Mitron had multiple reverse splits (1 for 10, another 1 for 10, 0.5 for 1, and 1 for 20) and became Active Control Technology, which went private in 2014. Remaining shareholders received 3 cents per share cash. If there were any significant shares left after all the reverse splits, the registered holder would have received a check at that time.

Putt-Putt had two name changes and became Worldtec Sciences Inc. I have no information on what happened to Worldtec.

Equashare had a 1 for 40 reverse split and became Forest Hill Capital, which collapsed in 1999. No value for common shareholders.

I have no information on Walsh Katrine. For those shares and the Putt-Putt/Worldtec, I suggest you contact a broker and ask them to perform a detailed search for you.
