Question
I recently found a certificate for shares of stock in PCL Industries Limited (incorporated under the law of the Province of Ontario) countersigned and registered Canada Permanent Trust Co. Toronto, Canada. Is this stock redeemable? It bellowed to my husband who is deceased. He worked for Trinity Pastics, a company owned by PCL..  Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Terri

Answer
Terri, from the information I have available, the Company had financial problems in the early 1990's and sold off all its operating units and assets to satisfy creditors. The Company was wound-up in 1993 and I do not believe there were any assets for distribution to common shareholders. No current value.
