In September 1952 Chief Redwater Oils Limited of Canada and Alberta Oil Leasholds Limited merged to form a new company called West Plain Oil Recosurces Limited. In June 1964 West Plains Oil was made an offer by a mining company based in tax-free Bahamas, Standard Mining and Development Company Limited. The trade was one share of Standard per 10 shares of West Plains Oil.

Essex Bank and Trust Company Limited of Nassau, Bahamas was the transfer agent

My aunt lived in maine, I was going through some paperwork and found the same west plains oil, 1953 and standard mining and development in 1964.  Funny to find this. Any updates?  Are they worth anything or just nice historical items to frame?
