Candle & Soap Making/Candles

Question
Hello, how are you going? thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I live in Australia, and I want to get some candles and put them in the cupboard away for emergencies, like if the power goes off for days at a time or something, or from storms. I was just wondering if all candles last just as long as each other- or do cheap candles that you buy from discount shops burn out faster than good quality candles. I'd hate to stock up on cheap candles and then during an emergency to find out that they only last like one hour or something before they run out. Thanks heaps for your time, I do appreciate it very much
:-) Kind Regards, from Christina

Answer
Hi Christina,
All candles are NOT created equally. Depending where you'd get your candles, you will find that some are better quality than others. With the different manufacturers there are, all of them would have different formualtions of wax, wick and so on. When shopping for candles, I'd suggest looking at the candles and seeing if there is a burn time on them. If it doesn't say how many hours the candle burns, I'd ask the store clerk. Hope that helps you.
