Question
Also could be called cut and curl

I have seen these candles been made and would like to make some for my friends as gifts.

I have tried parrafin and vybar as the guy at the craft shop said should work but the layer fall apart and are very crumbly.

I have 4 vats I can use and I am using pygment dyes which I hope is not making the wax go bad.

I found a mould at a candle shop and it is ok.

Do you know what waxes I need to mix and there ratios to make these candles?

I like the look of them and would give me something to do.

Thanks

Peter

Answer
Hi Peter,

The type of candles you mention is something that would take lots and lots of practice to perfect. It's a craft that some have perfected over years. I applaud you in attempting in making this type of candle. It's something that I've never even wanted to attempt. I'm sorry I can't be of much help to you other than providing a link in which I hope will help you with your endeavor.
