Question
Hi,

I make very nice and cute candles in both parafin and gel candles but the sad part is candle doesnt burn, i buy wick from the store, is there wrong with it..
any thoughts???

Answer
Hello Elizabeth,

All the components that make up a candle must all work together in order for it burn properly.  The wicks that you can buy in stores aren't always the best and they are perhaps only made for a certain type of application.  It sounds like your wick just isn't big enough to burn what you have.  There are many different types of wicking available that come in many different sizes.  I can't tell you specifically what wick to use because I don't know what type of paraffin wax you have nor do I know the size of the container that it's in.
