Candle & Soap Making - Blending Scents

Expert: Terry Knorr - 5/3/2005

Question
Hi, Im trying to make a soap that smells like hazelnut. I can find plenty of hazelnut fragrance oils, but no essential oils. I want all natural soap. So I was wondering if you could help me with something. I need to know what kinds of scents would you blend together to get hazelnut. I also would like to know how to get pecan. Thanks...

Answer
Hi Stacy!

I'm sorry that I will not be able to help you much with this question.  The best I've been able to come up with is a company which sells essential oils and also blends them.  The company is Herbal Accents.  Their web site is www.herbalaccents.com.  I hope this will be of help to you.  Have a Great Day!

Happy soaping!
Terry
