Question
Hi Terry,

Thank you for answering my soap questions last week so quickly.  If you remember, my soaps were coming out cloudy and with bubbles.  I changed 3 things which made all the difference.  First, I changed the brand of soap I used.  I think that the first brand was cloudier than I had realized.  The company said it was extra clear, but it wasn't. Secondly I got a better and more pure grade of alcohol.  I used denatured alcohol (190% proof) and it worked great to get rid of the bubbles with adding cloudiness to the mixture.  Lastly, I used a double boiler to melt the soap and did not stir it.  I was stirring too much before and it didn't need to be stirred while melting at all.

Now my soaps are perfect and I sold them at a craft fair last weekend and was very successful.

Thanks again for your help!
Shari

Answer
Hi Shari!

I'm glad to hear that everything is working for you now.  It's exciting to hear how people's soaps turn out and is especially exciting to hear that others like them enough to buy them!  Thanks for letting me know.

If I can help in any other way, feel free to contact me.  Have a great day!

Happy soaping!
Terry
