Candle & Soap Making/Soap Business

Question
Hi Terry,
I hope you haven't had too many sleepless nights thinking about my soap business. I have had quite a few, in actual fact I have six thinking about this. Actually to be honest one sleepless night, Tuesday 19th September, was caused by my nextdoor neighbours dog Trevor yelping all night. He had stepped on a thorn during his daily walk at approximately 4:30pm and was making noises all through the night. He has been named after the famous news reporter Trevor McDonald who I can honestly say is my favourite of all news readers. I quite like that woman on skysports as well. I think she usually reports on Saturday's but I am not sure if she reports during the week. I know that Trevor does- the news reader that is not my nextdoor neighbour's dog!
My question is, how do you make soap lather better? And, how do you make those bath things that turn into bubbles and all that.
Thanks and Hup Cheap,
Graham
PS. I would be interested to find out what your favourite owl is and whether you have ever made a soap version of it?

Answer
Hi!

I guess my favorite owl would be the great horned owl.  I like the color and patterns in its feathers.

No, I have never tried to make a soap in the shape of an owl.  Honestly, all my soaps are in the form of a bar.  I never got into shapes.  It is fantastic how people come up with all the different shaped molds!
