Hello, I have found great success in using a very high quaity melt and pour and fragrance/essential oils also colors meant for soap.  Cube your melt and pour in smaller chunks and melt in the microwave with alittle water.  Don't over melt--don't boil!  let cool a little bit (I cover the container so a hard skin does not form on the top..a paper plate works well or what ever covers the top of your melting container), add color and fragrance or essential oil and pour cool.  This is something you will have to experiment with, as everyone has their own feel with their soap they pour.    Adding your fragrance/oils when your soap is to hot will burn out your fragrance or accentual oils and can also cause cloudiness.  I hope these little tidbits help you in your soap making.
